100% Wool Blanket Larger Plaid
Bartlettyarns, of Harmony, Maine is one of our long-standing vendors. Every year they visit the Fairgrounds and conduct a Wool Pool, gathering fleeces from members' farms. We are proud to present blankets made from our own wool, spun and woven by Lindsey Rice at Bartlett. The mill dates back to 1821, and uses the only remaining spinning mule in the United States. Two hundred and forty bobbins can spin at a time, replicating the motion of a handspinner. Bartlett offers yarns, roving, weaving, and custom processing for its customers. Many different breeds are represented in these blankets, making them a 100% sheeps' wool product.
All blankets are estimated to be 3.5 feet wide by 4.5 feet long.
